A few things hold our life together without us ever noticing them. Screws and bolts are one such sure provision. Coming in all shapes in sizes, they are anchoring the cars we travel in, the aircrafts we fly, and the machinery we use. Simply they are just about everywhere.
The infographic posted an amazing list of screws and bolts (I wonder if they missed out on anything), complete with pictures and a very helpful description of each type.
My personal favorite is internal tooth lock “used to prevent nuts and bolts from backing out”. That’s one stubborn washer type.
