The World’s Weirdest Festivals

From naked festivals to throwing food on each other, if you thought your country was the only one that topped the chart for weird festivals, think again, we are surrounded by cultures that are equally weird and awesome at the same time. For example in Bolivia, they celebrate the ‘day of the skull’, where in friends and family gather around to celebrate and remember the dead. It is not uncommon to see loved one parade with the skull of their ancestors, (passed on from one generation to the other). If that is too out there for you, how about the ‘Wife carrying championship’ held in Finland every year?
