Did you know that before 1974, women were not eligible for a business loan on their own and needed a male co-signer to get a load approved? Now fast forward to today, where every one in three businesses are owned by women. It is no surprise, women entrepreneurs are on the rise. In the past few years, women have been heading and starting up more businesses than their male counterparts. If that was not interesting, banks and money lenders look forward to supporting a woman headed project because it is more creditworthy. In fact governments and reformers are welcoming this new wave as predictions are that women are going to be opening major small scale business and companies, generating tremendous demand for employment.
