If its summer, the one flavour that is everywhere is the smoky sizzling smell of slender hotdogs being heated up, waiting to be gobbled. In the United States alone, in what is known as the hot dog season, there are over 7 billion hotdogs that are consumed. This time between Memorial Day and the Labour Day, there are about eight hundred and eighteen hot dogs that are consumed per second, which is astounding. America surely loves its hot dogs and the top contending cities that keep up this reputation are L.A, New York city, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Boston – which are the top five cities.
