An Epic Guide To Culinary Tools
If you are one of those people who do not like to cook or their dishes don’t turn out the way they want them to, then I will tell you what I do in such situations, ‘Blame the tools’. Yes, yes, we know that a bad workman blames his tools, but in culinary, this adage does not hold good. Why, you make ask? I know because there are so many culinary tools that exist but have not been heard of that you could blame any one of the tools from this infographic from Fast Channel and no one would come to know.
Take for example the graters. There is a rotary grater, a nutmeg grater, microplane and even a zest grater in addition to the box grater that is omnipresent. The strainers are a different league altogether. Did you know that the colander, scoop colander, salad spinner, chinoise, spider and fat separator are all types of strainers? How can anyone possibly know all this unless he/ she are doing a PhD in Culinary Sciences? If you have come across this infographic looking for tools to fill your kitchen drawers, I would say, go knock yourself out. There is simply isn’t enough room in any kitchen to gather them all.
