Reading the classics is not just for middle school reading or for those who have opted for literature as their major at college. Classics once you get past their stylised way of writing you start to appreciate the hype around those stories. But what is more fascinating is that those titles that we are so familiar with have a story attached to them. For example did you know that Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice was first names – First Impressions? Or that the Great Gatsby was named the Trimalchio in West Egg or perhaps Under the Red White and Blue, before the editor came out with the Great Gatsby.
