How Color Has Changed
While a few years ago, you had to literally know the right combination of primary colours to get the exact shade you want on your wall, today, it is no longer the case. Take your kids crayon box for example, gone are the days when brown had to be overlapped with white to get that perfect shade of skin, for an art project. Now you just have a crayon that says, “skin” that we are told is just the shade we are looking for when we want to fill up those bare areas of the drawing. We have made a huge transition when colours were simply, red, blue, green, etc. to todays – Manatee, Outer Space, Neon Carrot, Vivid Tangerine etc. Here’s a great chart that marks our colour progress over the years.
