The world of sports is one pumped with testosterone and money, and the players both on and off the field knows that really well, and those numbers are just rising. To give a small glimpse, in 1903 when the first major baseball series was played, they sold a hundred thousand tickets for eight games giving them a grand total of $75,000. Today, the salary of a Dodger pitcher Clayton Kershaw is $35.57 million per year. Now that is an incredible climb.
